Union NREC Minister inspects gardens in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area

U Ohn Win, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, inspected Myoma Garden under the Department of Forestry in Pyinmana Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, on 27 April.
 

The Union Minister instructed officials to register the plants growing in Yoke Kha Garden located within Myoma Garden, place signs showing the name and genus of plants in the garden for visitors, upgrading the garden, distributing plants to people who wish to plant them, conduct hardening processes on plants before distributing them, and transferring old plants into bigger grow bags.
 

The Union Minister then went to Shwe Kya Garden in Zeyathiri Township and instructed officials to increase the variety of plants and protect the bigger plants from the heat.
 

Next, the Union Minister visited the plantations in Pobbathiri Township that were planted during the 2016, 2017 and 2018 monsoon planting festival. He then instructed officials to make necessary preparations for the festival this year to be a success as well.
 

The Union Minister continued on to Ottarathiri Township and visited Nga Like Garden located between mileposts 214/5 and 214/6 on the Yangon-Mandalay highway and gave instructions as necessary to the officials. —MNA (Translated by Zaw Htet Oo)
