Mabein, 26 September

Students aged five to nine were given Japanese encephalitis vaccine at the sub-B.E.M.S.-2 in Taikkon Ward in Mabein Township, Mongmit District in Shan State (North) this morning.

Under this immunization program, a total of 75 students aged five to nine from sub-B.E.M.S.-2 in the Township received the vaccine. 

Medical workers from the Township Maternal and child Welfare Association continue to administer the vaccine to children aged five to nine in the remaining villages in the Township. —Myo Min (IPRD)
