A ceremony to hand over VDP funds to five villages in Monywa Township was held at the Department of Rural Development in Monywa, Sagaing Region yesterday.

Present on the occasion were MP Daw Amar Kyi of Sagaing Regional Hluttaw, officials from the Rural Development Department, representatives from villages under the development project and invited guests.

A total of K 150 million was handed over to the representatives of the villages by the officials. The allotment for a village is K 30 million 2018-2019 fiscal year.
