The Village Development Projects are being implemented in 15 villages in Tangyan Township of northern Shan State with funds allocated by the Township Department of Rural Development.
Village Development Projects such as concrete paving works of road and relating works are being implemented in 15 villages in Tangyan Township in 2024-2025 FY with K 15.0 million per village, using a total of K 225 million including K 52.5 million contributed by local people. The project introduction, committee formation, training and selecting priority projects were completed in the first week of August 2024.
U Tin Aung Lwin, Tangyan District Department of Rural Development and heads of relevant departments and project manager inspected the implementation of village development projects, such as concrete paving works of road in 15 villages, and provided necessary assistance to responsible persons.
As of now, the projects have been completed 94 percent. Once completion, the roads will bring benefit to 6680 people from 1300 households in 15 villages in the Township in all seasons.—Maung Khaing (DRD)
