Kaleinaung, November 13 

A vehicle carrying illegal sawn timbers overturned on Ye-Dawei road in the town of kaleinaung, Dawei district, Taninthayi region yesterday morning.

The accident took place when the vehicle loaded with sawn timbers was climbing up a mountain before it rolled down the mountain and fell into a ravine with nearly six-feet deep. The head of the vehicle caught fire in the incident. The driver of the vehicle fled from the scene of the accident. Local police officers seized illegal sawn timbers weighing one and a half tons. 

Local police are searching for the driver to bring him to court for careless driving and illegal business activity.
