Hakha, July 29

A ceremony to provide victims of floods and clashes with cash assistance and provisions donated by Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Ministry of Border Affairs, Chin State Government and well-wishers was held at the meeting hall of Paletwa township General Administration Department in the afternoon of July 27 in Chin state.

 At the event, Chin state Development, Electric and Industry Ministry U Soe Htet and officials handed over financial assistance of K 236.684 million and household goods such as edible oil, salt, rice and cloths to victims of floods and clashes in the township.  

K 84.661 million, K 83.92 million and K 38.104 million were donated to the victims by ministry of social welfare, relief and resettlement, ministry of border affairs and Chin state government respectively. Chin state IPRD
