Vietnamese Embassy in Myanmar and Myanmar-based Vietnamese businesspersons donated COVID-19 medical supplies to the Ministry of Health and Sports yesterday afternoon in Yangon.

At the donation ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Ly Quoc Tuan explained the donation and Director-General for the Department of Medical Research Dr Zaw Than Tun expressed words of thanks.

The Ambassador and the businessmen handed over the cash assistance of K30 million, US$15,000 worth of 159,600 masks and 90 Thermometers and 486 bottles of hand sanitizers to the Director-General and received the certificates of honour.— Min Thit (MNA)
