A ceremony to open a vocational electrical wiring course, organized by the Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, was held at the office of DRD in the town of Pauk, Pakokku District, Magway Region this morning.

At the event, an official from the township DRD gave a speech and clarified the purpose of the course. Then, the township electrical engineer U Nan Oo explained the discipline to be followed by the trainees.

The one-day training course is being attended by 65 trainees.—Soe Moe Kyaw
