AS part of the 100-day project for the 2026-2027 financial year, the Township Rural Develop­ment Department of Mongyai, Tangyan District, Shan State (North), launched a vocation­al masonry training course at Narkho Village, Narkho Vil­lage-tract, on 12 May.

 

The training aims to create skilled workers and provide job opportunities for residents. During the opening ceremony, U Aung Win Khaing Oo, Township Head of the Ru­ral Development Department, delivered an opening speech, encouraging trainees to study the masonry techniques and applications diligently so that they can apply them effectively in their future careers.

 

Following the opening re­marks, instructors explained the course curriculum. After­wards, Township Head U Aung Win Khaing Oo, Daw Nan Aye Naung of the Township Co­operative Department, and Narkho Village-tract Admin­istrator U Aung Kham present­ed training materials to the participants.

 

The 15-day free training, which runs from 12 to 26 May, is being attended by 20 train­ees from Narkho Village. A skilled instructor is providing both theoretical and practical masonry lessons throughout the course. — Cho Than Nyunt (Rural)
