A ceremony to conclude a vocational sewing course was held at the Dhamayone of Wettoe Village, Paukkaung Township, Bago Region yesterday.

With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people and boosting their socio-economic status, the Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation organized a sewing course. 

At the event, the region Hluttaw Representative U Win Naing and the Township Administrator U Kyaw Htay delivered speeches. Afterwards, officials from DRD clarified the purpose of the course.

This was followed by the presentation of awards to outstanding trainees and completion certificates to all trainees. The one-month course was attended by 25 trainees. —Than Tun Aung, IPRD
