A ceremony to open a vocational sewing course, organized by the township Department of Rural Development, was held at the meeting room of DRD in Einme Township, Myaungmya District, Ayeyarwady Region yesterday.

At the event, MP Daw Yee Yee Tun of No. 1 constituency of regional Hluttaw delivered an opening speech. Then, staff officer of the district DRD U Thein Oo clarified the purpose of the training course. 

With a view to improving job opportunity for rural women and their socio-economic status, the township DRD organized a basic sewing training course in the township. The 26-day training course is being attended by 35 trainees from villages in the township.
