With a view to creating a better job opportunity for rural people and boosting their social-economic status, a free training course on masonry was opened at the meeting room of the Department of Rural Development (DRD) in Thegon Township, Bago Region on 13 May.

At the event, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Yin Htway delivered an opening speech and an official from the Township DRD clarified the purposes of the training course. Then, course instructors introduced the subject to be taught in the training and presented teaching aid materials to the trainees.

A total of 20 trainees from six villages in the township will be given practical and theoretical lectures by the course instructors during the 20-day training course.—Township IPRD
