With the aim of creating job opportunities, boosting living standard of rural people, increasing family income, disseminating vocational education and bridging the gap between rural and urban areas, Mohnyin Township Department of Rural Development opened a vocational training course at City Hall in Hopin, Mohnyin District, Kachin State yesterday morning.

The officials observed the teaching aids displayed at the ceremony. At the course, subjects such as making household goods and food production and creating handicraft will be lectured. It is the third of its kind and officials from the Township Department of Rural Development will lecture at the 15-day course and a total of 60 trainees are attending the course.
