Dawei, 29 October

An opening ceremony of welding, motorcar and mobile phone repair course was held at a technical training school in Dawei, Taninthayi Region this morning.

At the ceremony, Regional Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Kyaw Zeya gave an opening speech, highlighting that three technical training schools were set up in Myeik, Kawthoung and Dawei to conduct vocational training for local youths. Next, the regional minister and concerned officials cordially greeted the trainees.

A total of 50 trainees is being given practical and theoretical training during 22-week training course from 29 October to 26 March 2020.
