A vocational training course on making household utensils was opened in Taguntaing Village, Paung Township, Mon State this morning.
The training course is conducted under Covid-19 Economic Relief Plan (CERP) and is jointly conducted by the Department of Rural Development Small Scale Industry Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation with the aim of creating job opportunities for rural people and increasing their income.
On the occasion, Mon State Minister for PaO Ethnic Affairs Daw Nan San Wint Khaing gave a speech. The course instructors from the SSID are giving practical and theoretical training on making different household supplies by using teaching aid materials. The 6-day training course is being attended by 35 trainees throughout the township.
