Kyaikmaraw, August 29
A training course on voter list making, organized by the township Election Commission, was opened at Basic Education High School in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state yesterday morning.
First, Township Election Sub-commission Chairman U Tun Shin made an opening speech. Then, Daw Ei Thae Lin, secretary of the township Election Sub-commission highlighted the need for systematic compilation of voter list in order to successfully tackle the 2020 general election. She also said that it is crucial to make accurate voter list so that the voters do not lose their voting rights.
A total of 94 trainees from ward and village election sub-commissions underwent the training.—Cho Myat Myat Htwe (Kyaikmaraw)
