Vice President U Henry Van Thio observed artistes from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture conducting a public entertainment programme.
They performed ethnic national group dances and dance varieties with the aim of providing entertainment to the public at the National Landmark Garden, Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning. In addition to visitors from all works of life from various regions, the entertainments were also observed by Union Ministers Dr. Pe Myint, Thura U Aung Ko and Nai Thet Lwin, Deputy Ministers U Tin Myint, U Kyi Min and U Hla Maw Oo, heads of departments, officials and public servants and their families.

After the dance performances Vice President U Henry Van Thio presented floral bouquet to the artistes and cordially greeted them.
Next, Union Minister Thura U Aung Ko presented cash awards to the performing artistes.
Entertainment performances at Nay Pyi Taw’s National Landmark Garden were started with personnel from Tatmadaw Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare in January 2018. Following this personnel from Ministry of Information, Myanmar Radio and Television and personnel from Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture were conducting monthly performance alternatively. So far each ministries had performed six times already.

The Nay Pyi Taw’s National Landmark Garden displays mock-up buildings and significant landmarks of each state and regions in Myanmar as well as cultural heritages of ethnic nationals, traditions, customs and living styles.
