Wakema will launch school enrollment week in Basic Education High School in Wakema Township, Myaungmya District, Ayeyawady Region starting from 13 to 17 July, according to Township Education Officer's Office.

“School enrollment week for 2019-2020 academic year will launch nationwide on 13 to 17 July and high school students will attend their courses starting from 21 July in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Sports”, said a Deputy Township Education Officer U Zaw Min Tun.

In the township, there are a total of 44 Basic Education High Schools and schools will be opened in line with the COVID-19 preventative measures.
