Meiktila 12 October

Water supply project in Nyaungto village in Thazi Township, Meiktila District has been completed by hundred percent, according to District Department of Rural Development. 

The project has been implemented with K 31.34 million of funds of Regional development by Aquifer Co.Ltd. The project including digging a 400 deep tube well, construction of a water tank capable of storing 2400 gallons of water, construction of a water plant and installation of water pipeline was conducted starting from July 10. Now all have been completed by hundred percent. The completion of the project was inspected by officials from District and Township Department of Rural Development. 

Upon completion, a total of 1297 local people from 287 households in the village will be available drinking water in all seasons. In Meiktila District, water supply projects are being implemented with K 459.603 million in 23 villages during 2020-2021 FY.
