With the aim of distributing enough drinking water to locals in villages in Magway Region, Township Department of Rural Development is undertaking the water supply projects in 240 villages in Magway Region and now all have been completed by hundred percent, according to Magway Region Department of Rural Development. 

Digging 39 deep tube wells, three shallow tube wells, seven hand-dug wells, 38 earthen lakes, intallation of water pipeline and 96 water supply projects, totaling 243 water supply projects were undertaken with K 4100.6375 million, according to an official from the Region Department of Rural Development. 

Upon completion, a total of 169253 people from 36297 households in 240 villages are available enough drinking water in all reasons.
