Officials from Myeik District Department of Rural Development inspected the progress of water distribution projects in Htonmakha and Shanthit villages in Taninthayi Township, Myeik District, Taninthayi Region on July 13. 

 

The officials made an inspection at the construction site of a water tank capable of 2400 gallons of water which is being built at a spend of K 24.5 million. They then clarified the salient points of the project. They also inspected the location where will be built a water tank capable of 5000 gallons of water and water pipeline installation. The projects will be implemented with K 10 million funded by VDP. 

 

Upon completion, 370 people from 77 households in Santhit village and 926 people from 156 households in Htonmakha village will be available enough drinking water, according to an official from the Township DRD.
