Water supply project being undertaken in Tamanse village in Gyobingyauk Township, Tharawady District, Bago Region was inspected by Deputy Director from Regional Department of Rural Development and officials yesterday.

In the village, a total of 234 local residents from 55 households are usually facing water scarcity in the summer. Therefore, in 2019-2020 FY, digging a 400 ft deep tube well and construction of a water plant and a water tanker capable of storing 2000 gallons of water are being implemented in the village. Now, the project has been completed by 75 percent, according to the Township Department of Rural Development.
The Township Department of Rural Development is undertaking 13 water supply projects in the township during this fiscal year. If the local residents face water scarcity in summer, they can inform the Township Department of Rural Development via ph- 053-50966, 09-423676191 and 09-250725663.
