With the funds of Union and State Government, water distribution projects will be conducted in ten villages in Lashio District, Shan State (North) during 2023-2024 FY. 

The Department of Rural Development is focusing on distribution of purified drinking water in rural areas. The water distribution projects will be implemented in ten villages in Lashio and Hseni Townships. Now, arrangements are being made to invite open tenders, according to an official from the District Department of Rural Development. 

Upon completion, local people in the villages will be available enough drinking water in all seasons.
