With the aim of distributing enough drinking water to rural people, the Department of Rural Development is undertaking water supply projects in two villages in Ngape Township, Magway Region. 

The Township Department of Rural Development is undertaking water supply projects in the villages with K 25.65 million allocated by funds of Union during 2022-2023 FY. 

The projects including installation of water pipeline, electric meters and motors, construction of water tanks and water plants will be conducted. Now, the tender processes for water supply project are being undertaken, according to an official from the township Department of Rural Development. 

Upon completion, a total of 1892 people from 550 households in the villages will be available enough drinking water in all seasosn.
