With the aim of distributing enough drinking water in rural areas, water supply projects will be implemented in six villages in Mindon Township, Thayet District, Magway Region. 

The projects including construction of water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water, installation of water pipeline and related works will be conducted with K 57.85 million allocated by funds of Union and Regional Government during 2022-2023 FY, according to the Township Department of Rural Development. 

Upon completion, 548 households and 1705 people in the villages will be available enough drinking water in all seasons.
