Water supply projects are being undertaken in Dahattan village in Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region and now, all have been completed by hundred percent.
The water distribution project including digging 400 ft deep tube well, construction of a water tank capable of storing 2400 gallons of water and a water plant was conducted with K 18.08 million funded by Department of Rural Development during 2020-2021 FY. The projects were being undertaken by Four G Co., Ltd starting from 11 May.
Upon completion, over 5000 people from over 750 households will be available enough drinking water in all seasons, according to a member of village water distribution project.
With the aim of providing enough drinking water to locals in villages in Meiktila Township, the Department of Rural Development is undertaking water distribution projects in each fiscal year. In 2020-2021 FY, the water supply projects were implemented with K 115.98 million, funds of the Department of Rural Development in seven villages in the township.
