Water supply projects undertaking in Thayet District in Magway Region have been completed by 90 percent, according to Deputy Director of Thayet District Department of Rural Development U Kyaw San Htay.

A total of 48 water supply projects including digging tube wells, earthern rainwater storage ponds and other related projects are being implemented in villages in Thayet District by tender winning companies and respective Township Departments of Rural Development. 

Upon completion, a total of 23374 people from 5555 households and their cattles will receive enough drinking water without difficulty in all seasons.
