Water supply projects are being undertaken in 30 villages in Thayet District, Magway Region during six-month budget. The projects are being implemented with K 493.655 million starting from first week of December in 2021 and now, all have been completed by 95 percent, according to the Township Department of Rural Development. 

Water supply projects including digging tube wells, construction of water tankers and water plants, digging earthen lakes and related works were implemented in 30 villages which are possible water scarcity in summer. Upon completion, a total of 15934 people from 4119 households in the village and their cattle will be available adequate drinking water.
