Officials from Mon State and Chaungson Township Departments of Rural Development inspected digging tube wells and related works in Dayal and Kalaut villages in Chaungson Township, Mawlamyine District, Mon State on February 16.

The officials urged the responsible people to meet the set standard within the target date. The water supply projects including digging tube wells, construction of water tankers capable of storing 2400 gallons of water and water plants and other related works are being implemented with K 29.025 million, funds of the Department by tender winning companies in the two villages. 

Upon completion, the local people will be available purified drinking water in all seasons. The Department of Rural Development emphasizes to supply enough purified drinking water in rural areas facing water scarcity.
