With the aim of distributing purified drinking water in all seasons, water supply systems are being undertaken in Kandaung village, Pindaya Township, Danu Self-Administered Zone in Shan State (South). In the morning of 27 December, officials from the township Department of Rural Development made a field trip to inspect the progress of water supply system.
The officials and community leaders inspected digging a 450 ft deep tube well and related works and asked the members of the village water distribution committee for the timely completion.
The project is being implemented with the aims of avoiding water scarcity in summer and distributing purified drinking water in all seasons with K 47.008 million. It was conducted with the technical aids and supervision of officials from the department starting from fourth week of June. Now, it has been completed by 60 percent.
