“We have glimmer of hope for champion,” says Ayeyawady United’s Head Coach

U Myo Hlaing Win, Head Coach of the Ayeyawady United said he would pay attention to achieve better result in the Myanmar National League match against Sagaing United despite the Pathein-based still have a glimmer of hope for winning the trophy.

Currently, Shan United is on the top of the MNL chart with 43 points while Ayeyawady United is the second position with 41 points before both teams need to play one more match in the MNL. “Shan United made well preparations and is scheduled to play against Rakhine United in the last game in the MNL. As you all know, Rakhine United prepared their best when compared to previous season. I don’t focus on other teams and I do necessary preparations for my team. We can still hope to win the trophy if we defeat Sagaing United,” he said.

Ayeyawady United will clash with Sagaing United at home soil in Pathein on 15 September while Shan United will host Rakhine United in Taunggyi on the same day.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
