A ceremony to welcome new staff from Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree College under Department of Rural Development in Sagaing and Yangon was held at the office of the Township Department of Rural Development in Lashio, Shan State(North) at about 10:00 am on 20 December in line with COVID-19 health guidelines.

During the ceremony, staff officer of the state Department of Rural Development U Kyi Saw gave a speech and discussed matters relating to the development projects being undertaken by DRD in the State.

Afterwards, seven new employees appointed to Department of Rural Development in Shan State (North) introduced themselves. Then, officials gave words of encouragement and provided necessary assistance to them.
