A ceremony to provide rice and cooking oil to the families of Police and people with irregular income, organized by the owner of Hotel Yoma, was held at the meeting room of Myanmar Police Force in Pakokku Township yesterday.
At the event, the owner of Hotel Yoma handed over 80 bags of rice and 125 viss of cooking oil to the families of the Myanmar Police Force based in the town of Pakokku.
In addition, staff from Hotel Yoma paid a domiciliary visit to the homes of 221 households with irregular income in Seinpauk Hla Chaung in Pakokku Township, and provided rice and cooking oil to them.
As part of efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, Hotel Yoma family also donate medical items such as personal protective equipment suits, masks, thermometer to hospitals, clinics, Department of health and Philanthropic groups in Pakokku Township, it is learnt.—Tin Aung Win, IPRD
