A woman was killed after a quarrel with her husband in Uhmin Gone village in kawlin Township, Sagaing region yesterday evening.

Upon information received, police officers dashed to the incident scene to inspect the case. Daw Khin Cho Thet  was found dead with knife injuries, lying prone in her house.  The victim was said to have had a bitter quarrel with her husband, U Myint Toe. The quarrel triggered U Myint Toe to attack his wife with a chopper, killing her.
