A woman who returned to Myanmar from China via Chinshwehaw border checkpoint in Kokang Self-Administered Zone in Northern Shan State was found to have been infected with coronavirus on December 2.
    

Mdeical staffs led by Dr Thiha from the Department of Public Health have taken swab sample from 55 people who had close contact with the virus-positive patient at a public hospital in Chinshwehaw. Those who came in contact with the covid-19 confirmed patient were tested for the first time with the Rapid Test Kit, and all tested negative for the virus, and this is the second time a laboratory test has been performed.

Swab sample taken from those suspected people will reportedly be sent to a laboratory in Muse for medical examination.
