Kantbalu, September 13

The construction of a workshop building has been 80 % completed in Kantbalu township, Sagaing region, said Tun Tun Win of the Towship Agricultural Mechanization Department.

 The workshop building is being built in the compound of N0-48 Mechanized Farming Station in the township with ICA ODA loan. The one-storey building measuring 30 meters in length, 16 meters in width and 8.5 meters in height has been constructed by Tech United Power Company since March this year.

 “The aim of the construction of the workshop is to provide farmers with repair services for the spare parts of agricultural machines belong to them. The workshop will contribute to the benefits of local farmers” said Tun Tun Win.

 In the township, a total of nearly 500000 acres of various kinds of crops is annually grown.
