World Breastfeeding Week and Nutrition Week activity was conducted at Nay Pyi Taw Department of Public Health this morning.
At the ceremony, member of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Tun gave opening remarks and Dr. Myat Wunna Soe from the Department of Public Health clarified the processes that are being undertaken by the department.
Afterwards, the officials presented prizes to those who won in the ideal mother contest and provided nutritious food to pregnant women and Vitamin A to pre-school children. They then looked around the booths showing World Breastfeeding Week and Nutrition Week activities in respective townships in Nay Pyi Taw Council.
