Kyainn-Seikkyi 8 May
The World Red Cross Day was celebrated at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Kyainn-Seikkyi Township, Kayin State this morning.
Firstly, the head of the township police force Police Major Win Naing delivered an address and the chairperson of the township Red Cross Society U Myint Soe read out the message sent by the President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society Prof. Dr. Myat Thu. Next, members of the township Red Cross Society demonstrated activities being carried out the MRCS.
Afterwards, concerned officials awarded prizes to the volunteers and the ceremony came to an end with a song titled “The Red Cross Compassion”.—Myo Min Oo (IPRD)
