Yadanarbon FC midfielder fined K 800,000, banned from five league matches

Yadanarbon FC’s midfielder Ye Ko Oo has been fined Ks. 800,000 and banned from playing five matches in the Myanmar National League for his unprofessional acts at a football match against Sagaing United, according to the Myanmar Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee.

The Myanmar National League match between Sagaing United and Yadanarbon FC was held at People’s Stadium in Monywa on 22 June and Ye Ko Oo was sent off at 60 minutes of the match after being shown a red card. According to the CCTV footage, the forward swore at the assistant referee as he left the field. The committee held a meeting to probe into the case on 26 June through reports submitted by the referees and CCTV records. 

The Yadanarbon FC playmaker was also fined Ks. 800,000 and barred from five matches in the Myanmar National League for his unacceptable behavior.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
