THE AFC Grassroots Football Day 2025 ceremony was held on the morning of 27 May at the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Yangon.
The event saw Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) Vice-President U Htaik Khun Naung Myint Wai, executive committee members, General Secretary U Htun Htun Aung, MFF officials, football coaches and students from various basic education schools.
MFF General Secretary U Htun Htun Aung delivered the opening address, followed by officials symbolically launching the event by kicking footballs on the field.
After the opening ceremony, football coaches provided basic football training sessions to the students from participating schools as part of the grassroots development programme. — Ko Nyi Lay/ KZL
