Chairman of the Yangon City Development Commit­tee (Mayor) U Bo Htay, along with responsible officials, vis­ited Twantay Township on 12 November. The visit includ­ed inspections of the special farming zone near Talokhtaw village, the fish farms in Farm­ing Zone 1, the completion of goat poultry farms, Napier grass planting, and a visit to the broiler farm (Hyline Brown) at Golden Gate Glob­al Myanmar Pte Ltd, U Win Thiha Maung and Shwe Htoo Min Company Limited. Addi­tionally, the officials visited goat farms and rubber farms of Farming Zone 2 conducted follow-ups, inspected the con­ditions for Myanmar chicken farming, and gave necessary instructions.

 

In Zone 1 of Livestock Special Zone, there are 554 goats, 10,500 chickens, and 2,000 ducks. It is reported that the remaining breeding op­erations will continue to be implemented.

 

Afterwards, the mayor and his team checked 1,000 ducks and 60 pigs at the Htein­bin dump Hlinethaya (West) township, of the Urban Envi­ronmental Conservation and Sanitation Department. They then visited concrete mixure plant of the Engineering De­partment (Roads and Bridg­es) on Magway Street, Ward 8 in Hlinethaya (East) Town­ship. They inspected raising of 1,000 layers on the factory premises and addressed any identified needs. — MNA/ KZW
