A Youth Forum and Youth Knowledge-Sharing Lecture, jointly organized by the Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee and the Ayeyawady Region Youth Affairs Committee, was held yesterday morning at Pathein City Hall. Attendees included Union Minister for Youth Affairs Dr Maung Thin, Chief Minister of Ayeyawady Region U Aye Kyaw, the Speaker of the Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw, regional ministers, and students.
First, the student youths opened the ceremony by performing the songs “Flowers of the Future” and “Youth’s Vitality is the Nation’s Value”.
Following this, the Union minister delivered the opening remarks and, together with the chief minister, presented honorary cash awards and sports equipment to the students who had performed the songs.
Afterward, writer Ko Shwe Aung Thin delivered a youth awareness lecture titled “Youth and the Future State”. — Regional IPRD/TH
