A CLOSING ceremony of five-day Youth Integrity Camp in Mandalay concluded yesterday with a certificate ceremony awarded by Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission U Aung Kyi and its member Daw Aye Aye Mu to the trainee teachers and students.

 

At the ceremony held at Shwepyithar Hotel in Mandalay, UNODC Country Manager Mr Troels Vester and a trainee expressed thanks for the camp. The ACC Chairman said that his commission is emphasizing a constructive approach through promoting integrity.

 

He also remarked that corruption is a prevailing chronic problem in the community, blocking the ways for capable persons to the right positions to serve for the country.

 

He also urged the trainees to contribute in creating a corruption free society. The trainees developed 10 principles from the lectures learned from the camp.—MNA
