The Yangon Region Education Office (YREO) team beat the University team by 5-2 in Week12 of the Women’s League 2018- 2019, organized on Tuesday by the Myanmar Football Federation in Yangon.

YREO launched a speedy attack from the start, but the opening goal was scored by the University team.

The leading goal for the University team was scored by Kyawt Mhu Han at 22 minutes. The goal resulted from an unexpected counter attack from the opponents.

But 10 minutes later, YREO scored the equalizer in a penalty shootout after a foul by the University team.

The penalty was successfully converted by Nwe Ni Win.

YREO scored their second goal at 38 minutes. The goal was scored by a free kick by youth player Nhin Sandar Hlaing. 
Justbefore the first half ended, YREO equalled the score. The goal was scored by Nwe Ni Win.

The thrilling first half ended with a score of 2-2.

YREO played better in the second half, showcasing their innovative tactics and scoring more goals.

Swe Mar Aung scored the third goal for YREO at 50 minutes.
The goal lifted the spirit of the team, and YREO again scored the fourth goal at 70 minutes. The goal was scored by Pont Pont Pyae Maung.

Again, taking advantage of the breach in the University team’s defense line, the fifth goal was scored by Phyu Phyu Win of YREO.

There were no more goals in the later minutes, and the match ended with a score of 5-2 in favour of the YREO team.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
