Torrential downpours hit Mese Township, Bawlakhae District, Kayah State and the increase of water level in Nanman Creek occurred flooding. Due to the flooding, a 400 ft long Nanman water canal was eroded.

 

The District Department of Irrigation and Water Utilization Management conducted the repair of the water canal with K 17.1 million allocated by funds of State. In addition, the re-excavation of original water course of the creek has been undertaken with 9 million allotted by funds of State. The Deputy Township Administrator and officials observed the repair.
