Developmental works will be conducted with funds of VDP in 10 villages in Mawlaik Township, Sagaing Region during 2020-2021 FY, according to Township Department of Rural Development.

The village development projects were conducted in Mawlaik Township starting from 2017-2018 FY and rural roads, bridges, multi-purpose halls and school buildings have been constructed in 26 villages in the township. Now, the ten villages will undertake developmental works with K 10 million each provided by VDP.

Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development of local people and it will lessen the gap between rural and urban areas.
