Six confirmed Covid-19 patients in Myothit Township, Magway Region have been discharged from the hospital and were transferred to a facility quarantine center, according to the township Department of Public Health.

The virus-positive patients returned from Mingaladon, Hlaingthayar, Shwepyitha, and Insein Townships in Yangon Region to Myothit Township in Magway Region. They tested positive for coronavirus after sample swabs from the returnees were taken on November 26 and sent to National Laboratory in Yangon for medical examination.

They will be observed at a facility quarantine center for one week and quarantined at their home for another one week, according to an official from the township Department of Public Health.

157 patients were diagnosed with the Covid-19, 154 have recovered and discharged from the hospital, and some virus patients are being treated at the hospital, according to the Department of Public Health.
