A group of lawmakers made a field trip to Mongphyat Township, Shan State to inspect developmental tasks on December 6.
    

Accompanied by Shan State legislators U Sai Kyauk and U Arr Ko, Township Administrator U Thet Lwin and local officials, Upper House MP U Lin Zaw Tun looked into the Monghsat-Mongkhot-Mongphyat Road section and a two-storey staff housing being built by a private company with Ks. 157.35 million allotted in the current fiscal year.  
    

They also inspected the extension of Mongphyat-Mongyaung Road by the Department of Road under the Ministry of Construction where they called for site officials to focus on meeting the standard and safety of the employees.
