Hlaingbwe 17 December
With the help of the World Bank, the Department of Rural Development is undertaking community-based projects in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State. Now, the construction of a slab culvert is being conducted in Painhnetaw village in the township starting from December 16.
A slab culvert which is 14 ft in length, 14 ft in width and 8 ft in height is being built with K 5.5 million funded by community-based project. Upon completion, it will bring safe and convenient transportation to a total of 919 people from 532 households in the village and benefit socioeconomic development of the local residents.
