Myanmar National Airline will resume its domestic flights, suspended during COVID-19 period to Ann township, Rakhine State starting from 21 December, said U Kyaw Htay, the head of MNA office in Ann Township.


MNA will resume its flights operating one day a week, and the Ann flight schedule will be amended in the coming months, he added. “The passengers who wish to board the plane need to bring a copy of air ticket, passport and NRC card. They also need to have COVID-19 test conducted one day ahead at Dhamma Yakhita pagoda land, No.3 Market Ward from 1 pm to 4 pm. The COVID-19 results will be known within 15 minutes. The test of COVID-19 will cost a person K10,000,” said Dr Aung Kyaw Moe from Ann Township.


MNA will operate its domestic flights to Ann Township every Monday. The schedule of Yangon-Ann-Sittway trip is likely to change in the coming months, it is learnt.
